Ceremonial:
Ensure proper initiation of new members and adherence to ceremonial
rituals.
Children and Youth:
Support children of veterans and advocate for their well-being.
Community Service:
Participate in community service projects.
Disaster & Relief:
Prepare for and respond to disasters.
Economic:
Address issues related to employment, veterans’ preference, and re-employment rights.
Entertainment:
Organize social activities and events
Finance:
Manage the Post’s financial affairs, including budgeting and accounting.
Foreign Relations:
Promote international peace and understanding.
Gaming:
Oversee gaming activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
Graves Registration and Memorial:
Maintain records of veterans’ graves and provide assistance with burial benefits.
House:
Responsible for the upkeep of the physical and virtual meeting space.
Legislative:
Monitor legislative issues and advocate for veterans’ interests.
Media & Communications:
Manage the Post’s media and communications activities.
Membership:
Recruit and retain members.
Mental Health:
Address mental health issues and provide support services to veterans.
Music:
Organize and promote music programs and activities.
National Security:
Advocate for national security and support the armed forces.
Public Relations:
Promote the Post and its programs through public relations efforts.
Shooting Sports:
Promote and support shooting sports activities.
Sons of The American Legion:
Oversee the operations of the Post’s Sons of The
American Legion squadron.
Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation:
Assist veterans with claims, benefits, and other
needs.
Welcome/Open House:
Welcome new members and guests.
