Bruce Lee

Unveiled during the Xbox Showcase at Tokyo Game Show 2025, Bruce Lee is now appearing in Hitman: World of Assassination in a special crossover mission. Instead of being a target, Lee takes on a supporting role alongside Agent 47 in the Elusive Target mission titled The Infiltrator. Players can play as Bruce Lee for free until November 20.

In the mission, Lee assumes the role of Agent Lee, a martial artist and undercover operative infiltrating the Concord Union. The mission takes place at the Himmapan Hotel in Bangkok, hosting an international martial arts tournament. While it appears to be a standard competition, the event is a front for Concord Union leadership meetings and recruitment. Lee enters the tournament as a fighter, and Agent 47 must protect him while uncovering the syndicate’s operations from within.

The mission flips the usual Elusive Target formula. Instead of eliminating a target, Agent 47 works to preserve Lee’s safety, stop hidden assassins, and manipulate tournament matchups to secure Lee’s success. Players engage in objectives such as sabotaging equipment, distracting rival fighters, or neutralizing enemies before they strike. New mechanics like Combat Observation allow players to monitor enemy movements and intervene at critical moments. The mission also incorporates cinematic martial arts sequences where Lee demonstrates his signature moves, blending stealth and action in ways that stand out in this event.

The mission is free for all players from September 25 through November 20. For those who want permanent access, the Bruce Lee Pack is available, including the mission and themed cosmetics. The pack features Lee’s yellow tracksuit from Game of Death, kali sticks, a jade dagger, golden dragon scissors, and safehouse decorations honoring his cinematic legacy. Players can unlock additional rewards by completing objectives without being detected.

IO Interactive says the content pays tribute to Bruce Lee, celebrating what would have been his 85th birthday while also commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Hitman franchise. The studio designed the collaboration to honor Lee’s legacy and integrate his fighting style into the mission’s story and gameplay.

Fan reaction is positive, with players excited to fight alongside Bruce Lee instead of targeting him. The Infiltrator mission combines Hitman’s signature stealth with Bruce Lee’s martial arts, creating an experience that is captivating players around the world and sparking discussions on forums about favorite moments and strategies. Social media clips show the martial arts sequences in action, and longtime fans immediately recognize subtle references to Lee’s classic films.
