Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants

From gripping survival horror to sprawling RPG adventures and fast-paced racing, this month’s lineup promises experiences that could define the fall gaming season. Here are some of the games arriving in September:

Hell Is Us

Release: September 4
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S.
This eerie action-adventure places players in the shoes of Rémi, who must navigate haunting environments and battle supernatural Hollow Walkers using melee combat and drones. The game relies on subtle environmental storytelling, minimal UI, and atmospheric tension.


Hollow Knight: Silksong

Release: September 4
Platforms: PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2.
Team Cherry finally brings Princess Hornet into the spotlight in Pharloom, a dark and intricate Metroidvania world. Expect acrobatic combat, a quest system, over 200 new enemies, more than 40 boss fights, and expanded exploration elements.


Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion

Release: September 5

Return to mechanized mayhem in this sequel. Build and customize your Arsenal before entering solo or cooperative battles. The Hangar lets you fine-tune your mech while missions ramp up the action and variety.


Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants

An expansive story chapter drops in this DLC for *The Great Circle*, adding new content and storytelling adventures featuring Indiana Jones.


Cronos: The New Dawn

Release: September 5

This survival-horror thriller from Bloober Team sends players into a nightmarish world of time travel and body-melding monsters. Fire is your only defence against grotesque threats that mutate unless burned.


Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots

Release: September 5
Platforms: PlayStation 5, Steam, Nintendo Switch.
The latest in the cheerful golf simulation franchise brings refreshed visuals, courses, and play modes designed for both quick games and full seasons.


Borderlands 4

Release: September 12
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 (on October 3).
Return to chaotic looter-shooter fun in the world of Kairos. New movement powers such as grappling, traversing tools, and double jumping push traversal further. Co-op is supported, and the game promises one of the most expansive worlds in the series to date.


Baby Steps

Release: September 23
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5.
An introspective narrative game about embracing growth and small achievements. The emotional journey unfolds through simple gameplay mechanics that mirror personal progression.


Silent Hill f

Release: September 25
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S.
This installment returns the horror series to its roots in 1960s Japan. As a high school student, Hinako grapples with fog-shrouded puzzles, grotesque nightmares, and an unsettling cultural backdrop that sets it apart from previous entries.


Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

Release: September 25
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2.
Sega rounds out the month with high-octane kart racing featuring characters from multiple franchises. Expect gravity-bending tracks, transforming vehicles, and cross-platform multiplayer.


LEGO Party!

Release: September 30

A family-friendly board game in video game form. Up to four players roll dice, explore LEGO-themed boards, and collect points across fun, themed environments inspired by Ninjago, Pirates, and Space.


Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles

Release: September 30
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2.
This remastered classic retains its original strategic depth and pixel-art charm while adding modern improvements like voice acting and interface enhancements. It continues to explore themes of political unrest and class struggle with renewed sensitivity.

    I’m in between games at the moment so this list gives me some ideas of games to try. Most recently I played AC shadows and, while it was fun, it just didn’t scratch the itch, you know? I’m forever trying to complete Origins though.
