American Legion Gaming at Dreamhack Atlanta 2025

American Legion Gaming will be attending this year’s DreamHack in Atlanta, bringing its veteran-focused program to one of the country’s biggest gaming festivals. The event runs from October 31 to November 2 at the Georgia World Congress Center and is expected to draw thousands of gamers, content creators, and fans from around the world.

“Attending events like DreamHack is one of the most effective ways for The American Legion to show veterans that it’s serious about embracing gaming as part of its mission,” said ALG Executive Director Jared Morgan. To connect with today’s generation of service members and veterans, we have to be present wherever the gaming community gathers, and that means growing strong partnerships within the video game industry.

This year’s DreamHack Atlanta will feature more than 20 esports tournaments. The Clash Royale League World Finals and Marvel Rivals Ignite Grand Finals are expected to attract top-tier players from across the globe. EA SPORTS FC 26 will bring the excitement of competitive soccer gaming to the floor, while fighting game fans can look forward to the SNK World Championship 2025, featuring The King of Fighters XV and Samurai Shodown. Rainbow 6 Siege X and the DreamHack Knockout Atlanta 2025 CS: GO tournament, with a $10,000 prize pool, are also on the schedule, promising plenty of high-stakes action for attendees to watch and enjoy.

“DreamHack Atlanta is the perfect place to show how gaming brings healing and connection. For veterans, it’s more than a hobby; it’s a way to rebuild community, strengthen mental health, and rediscover purpose,” said ALG Operations Director Chris Keens. “That spirit of connection and recovery is at the heart of everything we do at American Legion Gaming.”

DreamHack Atlanta falls over Halloween weekend, setting the stage for one of the country’s largest gaming-related costume celebrations. The annual Halloween costume contest offers $20,000 in prizes, while a separate cosplay competition allows participants to show off their creativity and craftsmanship. These contests have become fan favorites, attracting both seasoned cosplayers and first-time entrants from across the gaming community.

The event floor will be filled with gaming experiences and interactive attractions. The Indie Playground gives independent developers a space to showcase their latest creations, while Artist Alley will feature more than 100 artists selling artwork, merchandise, and collectibles. Attendees can also visit the Stream Studio to watch live broadcasts from their favorite content creators or head to the Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) LAN area to play games alongside friends and other fans throughout the weekend.

In addition to gaming, live performances from Hololive English talents such as Takanashi Kiara, Koseki Bijou, Gigi Murin, Mori Calliope, and Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame will take place on the main stage. Fans can look forward to meet-and-greet sessions, musical acts, and exclusive merchandise opportunities.

With a mix of esports, entertainment, and hands-on gaming, DreamHack Atlanta 2025 is expected to be one of the most exciting weekends of the year for gamers of all backgrounds.
