The American Legion Gaming (ALG) booth is set to be one of the most interactive attractions at this year’s convention, running Aug. 22–26 in the Tampa Bay Convention Center exhibit hall. Packed with daily challenges, live gaming sessions, and a multi-day scavenger hunt, the booth promises an engaging mix of fun and friendly competition for attendees of all ages.

Visitors can test their skills in the Best Golf Putt, Best Car Racing Time, and Best Pinball Score challenges, each running throughout the day with leaderboard bragging rights up for grabs. Gaming fans will also enjoy free play on a variety of consoles, arcade cabinets, and retro setups. A major highlight will be the appearance of content creator and active duty Army officer Austin von Letkemann, known online as Mandatory Fun Day, who will host live matches with attendees at 12:30 p.m. (11 a.m. on the final day).

In addition to mini tournaments at 2 p.m. (12:30 p.m. on Aug. 26) and daily prize drawings at 3:15 p.m., the multi-day scavenger hunt invites participants to collect clues and solve puzzles for a chance to win exclusive prizes. The excitement builds to the Grand Prize Scavenger Hunt Winner announcement on Aug. 26 at 1:30 p.m.

The booth’s daily schedule also includes a Consumer Cellular Spotlight at 11 a.m. (10 a.m. on Aug. 26), offering trivia, giveaways, and sponsor appreciation.

Consumer Cellular is also offering convention-goers compelling reasons to switch, including:

  • 100% U.S.-Based Customer Service
  • No Long-Term Contracts — Flexible monthly plans
  • Ease of Switching with dedicated “Switch Pros”
  • 30-Day Risk-Free Guarantee — Cancel within 30 days of activation and pay nothing
  • Additionally, for every new line activated, Consumer Cellular will donate $10 to the Be The One initiative, supporting veteran mental health.
  • Exclusive for American Legion members, switching to Consumer Cellular comes with a $25 discount as a thank-you to veterans and active service members.

The booth opens daily at 8 a.m. and closes at 3:30 PM on August 22–25, with final day hours of 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
