Freedom Shoots Full Send Weekend

Freedom Shoots: Full Send Weekend 2026 is set for February 21-22 in Skiatook, Oklahoma, bringing Veterans, gaming creators, and supporters together for a two-day charity shooting event centered on connection, community, and tangible support for those who served. The weekend combines long-range marksmanship, creator storytelling, and mission-driven fundraising to help fund Veteran wellness programs and strengthen connections after military service.

American Legion Gaming, Eagle Ops Foundation, and Always Give Back will unite with a shared focus on funding mental health resources, outreach support, and therapeutic gaming equipment for Veterans. The collaboration centers on turning community energy into practical programs that directly support Veteran well-being.

OldPeeps, founder of Always Give Back, will serve as the event’s host and storyteller. Adding national attention to the event is GrndpaGaming, a well-known gaming personality and 73-year-old retired Navy Diver, Vietnam and Gulf War veteran, with a large following, who will step away from streaming to participate live on the range. His involvement connects longtime supporters, gaming audiences, and Veterans in a shared experience that ties military tradition to modern gaming culture.

All funds raised during the weekend go directly toward equipment, therapy support, and outreach services. The emphasis is on real outcomes, with donations translating into tools, programming, and resources that support Veterans’ mental health, connection, and successful transition after service. The message behind the event is straightforward: Veterans deserve more than appreciation alone. They deserve consistent support and real action.

A unique part of the fundraiser includes “Shoots and Signs” collectibles. Supporters can receive event-used brass and targets signed by participating creators, providing a tangible connection to the mission while helping fund Veteran programs. These items give donors something meaningful to hold onto while contributing to lasting impact.

Donations of $200 to $399 include a signed event shell set, limited to 10. Gifts between $400 and $1,499 receive a teddy bear and a signed shell, with eight available. The top tier, $1,500 and up, offers a 20mm ammo box and signed event shells from GrndpaGaming, Peeps, and the Full Send Weekend team, limited to two packages.

Supporters can also join the “Buy a Round for a Vet” program by purchasing a .50-caliber round on behalf of a Veteran. This option is limited to 100 participants and provides another way to support the mission.

Throughout the weekend, American Legion Gaming streamers will play and livestream shooter games on Twitch and Kick to help support the charity effort and expand participation beyond the range. Viewers across the country can tune in, engage with the community, and contribute even if they cannot attend in person. American Legion Gaming will also have a booth on site where attendees can learn more about the mission and connect with the team.

Interest continues to build as the event approaches, with growing participation from Veterans, gaming communities, and supporters who want to be part of something focused on connection, community, and practical support.
