GameMill Entertainment and developer Cradle Games have confirmed that Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition, the home console version of the popular Raw Thrills arcade racer, will launch on October 24. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

The reveal brings a familiar arcade favorite into living rooms, letting players jump behind the wheel without a trip to the arcade. This console version will preserve the high-speed, over-the-top action of the original while enhancing the graphics and performance for modern consoles.

Players will be able to choose from a lineup of officially licensed vehicles that reflect the high-speed vehicles of the Fast & Furious film franchise. Cars include the Dodge Charger, Corvette Z06, Shelby GT500 KR, Ford GT, Bronco DR, and Jeep Wrangler. In addition to performance tuning, custom paint options will give each player the ability to create a unique look for their rides.

The gameplay offers a choice between solo racing and local split-screen multiplayer, making it a fit for both competitive and casual sessions. Tracks feature a mix of destructible elements, branching routes, and hidden shortcuts designed to reward aggressive driving and exploration. The game also includes cinematic-style missions such as intercepting a missile in the Swiss Alps and stopping a plane mid-flight over the skyline of Hong Kong.

Earlier reports mentioned a possible PC version, but GameMill clarified that Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition will only be available on consoles. The game will be a living room experience, rather than a cross-platform title.

This is the first major Fast & Furious game on consoles since Fast & Furious Crossroads, which was released in 2020 and had many negative reviews. Critics pointed to unresponsive controls, repetitive missions, and a lack of polish. By contrast, Arcade Edition hopes to deliver fast-paced, high-energy racing with instant thrills, staying true to the style that made the arcade version popular.

Its release comes during a quiet period for the movie franchise, with Fast X: Part 2 delayed until next year. For fans, it provides a way to engage with the brand’s action-heavy racing style while waiting for the next big-screen chapter. The timing may also work in its favor, as holiday season racing game releases often attract both franchise fans and casual players.

With explosive stunts, fan-favorite cars, and a focus on pure arcade racing, Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition is positioned to bring a dose of blockbuster speed to living rooms worldwide when it hits consoles this October.
