From thrilling action to rich storytelling, PC gamers have a lot to look forward to over the next few years. The upcoming lineup includes expansive role-playing games, cooperative shooters, and inventive indie projects that deliver engaging and memorable experiences.

Arc Raiders

Release Date: October 30

Arc Raiders is a cooperative third-person shooter from Embark Studios. Players team up to tackle mechanized enemies in a futuristic world filled with advanced technology and dynamic battles. The game emphasizes teamwork, large-scale encounters, and mission-based gameplay, making it a standout sci-fi action experience for players who enjoy collaboration and strategy.

Atomic Heart II

Release Date: 2026 (estimated)

Mundfish’s sequel to Atomic Heart expands the bizarre Soviet-inspired setting. Players can expect unsettling enemies, high-tech weapons, and an atmosphere that blends horror with action. The game is designed to push storytelling and open-world exploration further, continuing the eerie alternate-history themes of the first title.

Tides of Annihilation

Release Date: 2026 (estimated)

Tides of Annihilation is an action-adventure game set in both a devastated London and a mythical Avalon. Players control Gwendolyn, the sole survivor of a siege during an Outworld invasion, as she seeks to save her sister and take vengeance on Avalon’s demi-gods. The game includes over ten spectral knights, each with a distinct fighting style, and introduces light RPG systems to shape the journey.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword

Release Date: 2026 (estimated)

Capcom revives its samurai action series with Onimusha: Way of the Sword. This new entry modernizes the hack-and-slash combat with updated mechanics while preserving the cinematic storytelling that defined the series. Players will explore feudal Japan-inspired settings, confronting enemies and bosses in skill-driven combat designed to appeal to both veterans and newcomers.

The Witcher 4

Release Date: 2027 (earliest)

CD Projekt Red’s next Witcher game is confirmed to follow Ciri as the main protagonist. Set in the mountainous region of Kovir, it promises an expansive world with rich storytelling and deep character interactions. While many details are still under wraps, fans expect the continuation of the series’ hallmark blend of exploration, combat, and narrative-driven choices.

Clockwork Revolution

Release Date: TBA

Clockwork Revolution, from InXile Entertainment, is an action RPG set in a retro-futuristic steampunk city. Players can manipulate time to change both combat and exploration, while decisions throughout the story shape multiple outcomes. Its mix of strategic gameplay and atmospheric design aims to draw in players who enjoy richly crafted RPGs.

ENDS

Release Date: TBA

Concrete Realm Games’ ENDS is a gritty open-world RPG set in the streets of London. Inspired by crime-driven titles like Grand Theft Auto, it allows players to rise through the ranks of a harsh urban environment. Every choice influences how power and survival play out in the city’s underground world.

Infinitesimals

Release Date: TBA

Infinitesimals shrinks players down to insect size in a sprawling natural environment. Blending exploration, survival, and combat on a miniature scale, it challenges players to adapt to oversized landscapes and hazards. Its perspective and mechanics stand out as one of the most imaginative indie developments currently underway for PC.
