American Legion Gaming (ALG) is bringing its mission to LootFest Ragnarok, turning a weekend of video games and pop culture into meaningful support for veterans. From March 6 through 8 at Cinnamon Creek Ranch in Fort Worth, gamers will gather for competitions, collectibles, cosplay, and live entertainment, but this year the event will also serve a larger purpose.

Partnering with Always Give Back, American Legion Gaming will help raise funds throughout the festival, with 100 percent of the money going directly to mental wellness programs for veterans and life-changing equipment. The goal is simple: make sure no veteran feels alone after coming home.

LootFest has grown into one of North Texas’s most anticipated gaming events, drawing fans from across the region. Held at Cinnamon Creek Ranch, the festival combines competitive gaming, vendor marketplaces, and interactive experiences in an energetic outdoor setting. Attendees can explore booths, meet creators, and take part in live challenges across the three-day event.

American Legion Gaming will have a strong presence both on-site and online. Throughout the weekend, ALG streamers will be broadcasting live on Twitch and Kick, connecting with viewers who cannot attend in person and encouraging the gaming community to get involved. Supporters tuning in will be able to follow the action, learn more about veteran-focused initiatives, and contribute to the cause.

One of the most anticipated events takes place Sunday, March 8, at 12:00 p.m. on the Main Stage with VALHALLA VIDI VICI: The Vets & Vikings Trivia Clash, hosted by American Legion Gaming and Always Give Back. The 90-minute live trivia skirmish is about military history, pixelated nostalgia, and Norse mythology into a fast-paced stage competition designed to energize the LootFest crowd.

Ten teams of three to four competitors will face off in creative rounds, including Acronym and Aggression, 8-Bit Identity Crisis, Loki’s List of Grievances, and a rapid-fire finale known as Kobayashi Morrow Only. Whether participants are history buffs or hardcore gamers, the challenge is built to test knowledge, teamwork, and quick thinking.

Players can sign up by visiting the ALG and Always Give Back booth during Saturday expo hours to secure a spot. Additional event details are available at Legion.gg and LootFest.co. Fans unable to attend in person can watch the competition live on Twitch, Twitch (LootFest Event), and Kick, as well as Kick (LootFest).

Adding to the excitement, the trivia contest will feature epic loot tied to the fan-favorite Borderlands franchise, known for its over-the-top action and legendary gear drops. The themed prizes are expected to draw serious competitors and plenty of spectators.

Beyond the games and giveaways, the weekend is centered on impact. Funds raised during LootFest will directly support programs that focus on mental wellness and adaptive equipment for veterans, helping address real challenges many face long after their service ends. Whether attending in person or watching online, supporters are encouraged to spread the word and help amplify the effort.
